Job summary

A leading technology services firm is seeking a SAP Functional Consultant in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and implementing ERP projects, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include problem investigation, developing testing procedures, and maintaining system documentation. Ideal candidates will pursue a degree in Computer Science or related fields and possess knowledge in frontend and backend development frameworks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related engineering fields.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools is required.
• Knowledge in one or more frontend framework (HTML5/Angular/React JS) is essential.
• Knowledge in one or more backend languages (ABAP/Java/Python/PHP) is a must.

Responsibilities

• Investigate reported problems/errors and initiate amendments & testing.
• Propose effective work-arounds or solutions and estimate resources.
• Develop unit test packages and document test results.
• Perform data profiling and analyze affected data.
• Assist in UAT & implementation activities to fix reported problems.
• Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.
• Assist in project management administration.

As a SAP Functional Consultant, you will be responsible to configure, design, develop, implement and maintain projects; provide consultancy services; specialize on ERP products; ensure the quality of services and achieve customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• Investigate all reported problems/errors and initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
• Propose effective work‑around or alternative solution, oversee the selection of solutions and estimate resources/cost required to implement the proposed solution to meet customer’s requirements.
• Develop unit test package, execute tests & document test results to ensure the quality of the program.
• Perform data profiling and analyze the affected data.
• Assist in the integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT) & implementation activities to fix the reported problems/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in the production environment.
• Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.
• Assist in project management administration.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related engineering fields.
