Position: SAP Basis Lead Consultant
Location: Singapore

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Lead Consultant to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP Basis administration, along with proven expertise in brownfield implementation projects and SAP Public Cloud. This role requires a strong leader with the ability to manage, strategize, and execute complex SAP projects while ensuring system performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy:Act as the primary technical lead for SAP Basis activities, guiding teams in project delivery and system management.
  Provide technical guidance during brownfield implementations and migrations to SAP Public Cloud.
  
• System Management:Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, etc.) on both on-premise and cloud environments.
  Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal performance of SAP systems.
  
• Implementation Expertise:Lead SAP brownfield migration projects, including assessments, planning, and execution.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless SAP Public Cloud deployment and integration.
  
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and project managers to align SAP solutions with organizational objectives.
  Coordinate with SAP support and vendors for issue resolution and system enhancements.
  
• Monitoring & Optimization:Perform regular system monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and performance.
  Conduct capacity planning and recommend system upgrades and improvements.
  

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Proven track record of leading brownfield implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in SAP Public Cloud solutions, including configuration and deployment.
• Proficiency in SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA), HANA databases, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Deep understanding of system architecture, transport management, and security configurations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in SAP Basis or SAP Public Cloud is a plus.
• Experience with automation tools and technologies in SAP landscapes.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards.
