SAP Basis Lead

Job Description:

1. Install and configure SAP applications and NetWeaver Suite (BW, FIORI, BOBJ) of products within the SAP system landscape.
2. Manage system copies, upgrades, patching, and migrations across SAP landscapes.
3. Ensure high availability, perform and monitor the SAP systems backups.
4. Perform Oracle Database table space administration, resize, reorganization & Implementation of Database Patches.
5. Implement SAP OSS notes, kernel patches, support packages, add-ons, and SAP software component upgrades.
6. Ensure a secure SAP environment by following SAP best practices and client security requirements.
7. Set up and manage Secure File Transfer (SFT) for secure data exchange between SAP and external systems.
8. Document best practices, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
9. Take ownership of project tasks, ensuring timely and effective completion.
10. Identify and analyze key factors influencing system performance and propose effective solutions.
11. Utilize analytical and decision-making skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
12. Collaborate with SAP, external partners, and customer teams to ensure successful project completion.
13. Continuously enhance existing skills and seek opportunities for professional development.
14. Report to and work under the guidance of the SAP Basis Technical Lead and Project Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience.
2. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT discipline.
3. Strong knowledge and technical expertise in SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP BI, and SAP Fiori.
4. Experience with installations, upgrades, and monitoring of SAP NetWeaver Suite on Windows/Unix platforms with Oracle or other databases.
5. Strong understanding of ECC and NetWeaver Solution architecture, use cases, Integration with SAP and Non-SAP systems.
6. Hands-on experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
7. Understanding of SAP authentication, SSO integration (Kerberos), and security configurations.
8. Experience in conducting performance testing using LoadRunner to analyze system bottlenecks and optimize performance (preferred).
9. SAP Basis and OS/DB certifications (preferred).
10. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
11. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
