Job summary

NCS PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on SAP Basis Administrator with approximately 5 years of experience to support SAP ECC, BW, Gateway/Fiori, GRC, Enterprise Portal and OpenText environments running on SAP HANA/Linux and SAP ASE/Windows.

The role covers SAP Basis administration, production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, transports, backup/recovery and HA/DR operations. You will contribute to 24/7 on-call support when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in IT or related discipline.
• Around 3 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience.
• Production experience with SAP ECC/BW.
• Experience with HANA on Linux and ASE on Windows.
• Hands-on exposure to HANA Replication, Pacemaker/Corosync and WSFC.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to support production systems and after-hours maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP ECC, BW, Gateway/Fiori, GRC, Enterprise Portal and OpenText.
• Monitor SAP systems, servers, logs and background jobs.
• Troubleshoot SAP dumps, locks, update failures, RFCs and interfaces.
• Perform SAP instance startup/shutdown, profile administration and kernel patching.
• Manage SAP transports using STMS across DEV, QA and Production.
• Support Gateway/OData services, Fiori connectivity, GRC RFCs and OpenText integration.
• Participate in SAP HANA and Linux/Windows related maintenance and upgrades.
• Monitor HANA, perform backups, patching and performance tuning.
• Support HANA System Replication, including takeover and failback.
• Administer HA clusters (SLES Pacemaker/Corosync and WSFC) and resolve cluster issues.
• Provide security, backup and production support, including on-call rotations.

What will you do:

SAP Basis & Application Support

• Administer and support SAP ECC, BW, Gateway/Fiori, GRC, Enterprise Portal and OpenText.
• Monitor SAP systems, application servers, work processes, system logs and background jobs.
• Troubleshoot SAP dumps, locks, update failures, RFCs, jobs, spool and interface issues.
• Perform SAP instance start/stop, profile/parameter administration and kernel patching.
• Manage SAP transports usingSTMSacross DEV, QA and Production.
• Support Gateway/OData services, Fiori connectivity, GRC RFCs, Portal and OpenText integration.

SAP HANA & Linux

• SupportSAP HANA 2.0 on Linux.
• Monitor HANA services, CPU, memory, data/log volumes, alerts and database capacity.
• Support HANA backup/restore, patching, upgrades and performance troubleshooting.
• SupportSAP HANA System Replication (HSR), including monitoring, takeover and failback.
• AdministerSLES Pacemaker/CorosyncHA clusters.
• Troubleshoot SAPHanaSR/SAPHanaSR-angi, STONITH/fencing, quorum and cluster resources.
• Participate in HANA HA/DR testing.

SAP ASE & Windows

• SupportSAP ASE on Windows Server.
• Monitor database availability, space, transaction logs, backups and performance.
• Troubleshoot ASE errors and SAP/ASE connectivity.
• Support ASE patching and upgrades.
• Administer Windows Server and supportWindows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC).
• Monitor cluster nodes/resources and troubleshoot quorum, network, storage and failover issues.

Security, Backup & Production Support

• Manage SAP SSL/TLS, PSEs and certificates usingSTRUST.
• Support SAP Web Dispatcher HTTPS/SSL configuration.
• Support SAP security patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor HANA/ASE backups and participate in restore and DR exercises.
• Perform incident troubleshooting across SAP, database, OS, network and HA layers.
• Participate in24 7 on-call support, where required.

Qualifications
