Job summary

Avensys Consulting is hiring an experienced SAP Ariba Project Manager in Singapore to lead end-to-end Ariba implementations. The role requires governance, stakeholder management, and multi-workstream delivery across procurement, sourcing, contracts, and invoicing modules.

You will coordinate with Ariba functional consultants, technical teams, and client sponsors, driving delivery with SAP Activate or equivalent methodology and supporting organizational change management.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Ariba implementation experience.
• 6+ full-cycle Ariba implementations as PM or Architect.
• Experience with Ariba modules: Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, Supplier Management, Invoicing, or Guided Buying.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication.
• PM/Prince2/PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP Ariba implementations from planning to hypercare.
• Own project plan, RAID, budget tracking, and resourcing.
• Serve as primary client contact for stakeholders and sponsors.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and client business owners.
• Manage scope, changes, risks, and issues.
• Ensure delivery aligns with SAP Activate or equivalent.
• Drive governance cadence: status reports and milestone sign-offs.
• Support change management and user adoption planning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of an Ariba implementation program in Singapore. The successful candidate will own project governance, stakeholder management, and delivery quality across the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of SAP Ariba implementation(s), including planning, blueprinting, configuration oversight, testing, cutover, and hypercare
• Own the project plan, RAID log, budget tracking, and resourcing across functional and technical workstreams
• Serve as primary point of contact for client stakeholders, steering committees, and executive sponsors
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Ariba functional consultants, technical/integration teams, and client business owners
• Manage scope, change requests, risks, and issue escalations
• Ensure delivery aligns with SAP Activate or equivalent implementation methodology
• Drive project governance cadence: status reporting, steering committee updates, milestone sign-offs
• Support organizational change management and user adoption planning

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Ariba implementation-related work
• Minimum 6 full-cycle Ariba implementations delivered as Project Manager or Architect
• Proven track record managing Ariba modules such as Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, Supplier Management, Invoicing, or Guided Buying
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification preferred
• Experience managing multi-vendor/multi-workstream delivery teams
• Available to start immediately
• Willing/eligible to work in Singapore for the duration of the contract

Nice to Have

• Prior experience delivering Ariba projects specifically in Singapore or APAC
• SAP Activate certification
• Experience with S/4HANA integration alongside Ariba
