Job summary

BLUE OCEAN SYSTEMS INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is urgently seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 8–10 years of SAP development expertise, including S/4HANA programming and Fiori/UI5 applications.

The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing SAP solutions across modules with emphasis on integration, performance, and end-to-end delivery. Responsibilities include building ABAP reports, interfaces (BAPI/IDOC/RFC/BSP), workflows, CDS views, AMDP, and SAPUI5 apps; configuring Fiori in

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP OOPS, CDS Views, AMDP, and SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Experience with S/4HANA programming and integration with external systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom reports (Classical, ALV, OO ALV) and enhancements using BADI, User Exits, and Enhancement Spots.
• Build and optimize interfaces using BAPI, IDOC, RFC, BSP, and Adobe/Smart Forms.
• Develop workflows including design, binding, agent assignment, and runtime administration.
• Hands-on S/4HANA & Fiori/UI5 development with CDS Views, AMDP, Eclipse ADT; develop SAPUI5 apps consuming OData and activate Fiori in Launchpad.
• Manage interfaces with external systems (Maximo, Ariba, SFDC, ServiceNow, OneStream) and extend transactional apps for MM, SD, HR; develop inbound/outbound IDOCs and PI/Proxy integrations.
• ABAP debugging, performance tracing; revamp and optimize code for efficiency and scalability; implement parallel processing and automation for high-volume transactions.
• Provide end-to-end SAP delivery support incl. ECC & S/4HANA, collaborate with functional teams, design prototypes, and deliver solutions; prepare UAT docs and production support.

Hi Urgent opening for SAP ABAP Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 8 to 10 years of expertise in SAP development, S/4HANA programming, and SAP Fiori/UI5 applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing SAP solutions across modules, ensuring seamless integration, performance optimization, and end-to-end delivery of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Development & Enhancements

Design and develop custom reports (Classical, ALV, OO ALV) and enhancements using BADI, User Exits, and Enhancement Spots.

Build and optimize interfaces using BAPI, IDOC, RFC, BSP, and Adobe/Smart Forms.

Develop workflows including design, binding, agent assignment, and runtime administration.

S/4HANA & Fiori/UI5 Development

Hands-on experience with CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and Eclipse ADT.

Develop SAPUI5 applications consuming OData services for business processes (e.g., Delivery Management, Driver Assignment, Work Order Confirmation, Leave Management).

Activate and configure Fiori applications in Launchpad.

Integration & Interfaces

Build and manage interfaces with external systems (Maximo, Ariba, SFDC, ServiceNow, OneStream).

Configure and extend transactional apps for MM, SD, and HR modules.

Develop inbound/outbound IDOCs and PI/Proxy integrations.

Performance & Optimization

Conduct ABAP debugging and performance tracing.

Revamp and optimize existing code for efficiency and scalability.

Implement parallel processing and automation solutions for high-volume transactions.

Project Delivery

Support end-to-end SAP implementations (ECC & S/4HANA).

Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to design prototypes and deliver solutions.

Prepare UAT documentation and provide production support.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of ABAP OOPS, CDS Views, AMDP, Workflow, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, OData Services, UI5 Applications.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA programming model and SAP Fiori development.
• Integration experience with external systems (Ariba, Maximo, SFDC, ServiceNow, OneStream).
• Proficiency in performance tuning, debugging, and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and delivery skills.
