About the role

Niigata Power Systems (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a talented Salesperson to join our team in the Bukit Batok West Region. This is a full-time role where you will play a crucial part in supporting our dynamic sales department. As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting our sales team in delivering excellent customer service and achieving our ambitious business objectives.

We are seeking talented and motivated sales professionals to join and expectation of the roles to be:

1) Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities.

2) Assist day-to-day activities such as order processing, invoicing, picking of items and tracking shipments in the warehouse.

3) Handle customer inquiries, provide product information, and address any concerns or issues promptly.

4) Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, proposals, and contracts.

5) Tracking and reporting on sales activities and performance on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis during the sales meeting.

6) Significant travel may be required for client meetings.

Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by HOD

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant sales experience or business development role, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering industry

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn.

  • Experience working with Japanese companies will be a plus.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office application software (Word, Excel,

  • PowerPoint)

  • Preferred to have Class 3 driving license.
