About the role

Join the dynamic sales team at UTOP Paints (Singapore) PTE. LTD as a Sales Trainee in our Marine and Industrial Coating Division. This full-time position with commission-based incentives is designed for young talents who are eager to build a rewarding career in technical sales. You’ll receive comprehensive training and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience in B2B sales across the maritime and industrial coating industry. After the training, you'll play a crucial part in expanding our client base and market share.

What you'll be doing

Learn to identify and approach new clients in the marine and industrial coating markets

Participate in client meetings and product presentations with senior sales staff

Understand customer needs and help prepare customized product recommendations

Assist in drafting sales quotations and basic contract terms

Maintain communication with customers and collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, technical, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services

Support the creation of sales reports and pipeline tracking

Receive product and technical training from our coating experts

Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives to achieve ambitious growth targets

What we're looking for

Minimum O Level education and A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field will be advantage

No prior experience required — fresh graduates and career switchers are welcome

Strong willingness to learn and develop a career in industrial B2B sales

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsible, self-motivated, and persistent

Able to speak and write in English, and able to speak Mandarin will be an advantage (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients)

Possessing Class 3 Driving License and own transport is a plus
