Primary proficiencies

  • Must possess all relevant licenses under Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) rules for brokers and brokerage businesses: CMFAS M1B, 2A and M6A
  • Must adhere to industry norms and high standards of good conduct and client facing behaviours
  • 2-3 years brokerage and dealing room experience, minimum.
  • Learn GTN Asia systems (internal)- within the overall context of the Global Trading Network:Including all market coverage for GTN
  • Support and facilitate client and/or equity, structured products, futures, CFD, mutual funds and fixed income products
  • Should be Bloomberg use proficient
  • Availability should be currently for European and USA market coverag- Provide desk, phone, email, approved messaging coverage and support for markets available to GTN Asia client base, plus any external GTN hub related order routing- 80 + stock markets worldwide

Day-to-day Activities

  • Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments closely
  • Develop understanding of underlying products being traded and keep up to date with knowledge of new products/procedures.
  • Liaise with clients and relationship managers to understand the client trading objectives and provide a reliable and efficient broking service
  • Identify new business opportunities relating to market and client activity trends
  • Provide risk management and trade execution expertise
  • Keep trade records up to date
  • Assisting in day-to-day tasks assigned by superior including but not limited to ad hoc reporting, research, and client communications

Job Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business/Communications/Finance/or Marketing
  • Ability to work with diverse groups including all internal and external stakeholders across APAC/MENA/US/CANADA/LATAM
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
