Sales Technician Lead

Job Summary

We are hiring a Sales Technician Lead who combines sales and technical expertise to assist customers with our products and services, including providing support before, during, and after a sale. This position is required to help customers identify needs, demonstrate products, handle installations, and troubleshoot issues. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and successful product adoption.

Key Accountabilities

  • Customer Needs Assessment: Identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable products and services.

  • Product Demonstration: Showcasing product features and benefits to potential customers.

  • Technical Support: Providing on-site and remote technical assistance to resolve customer issues and ensure proper product usage.

  • Sales Support: Collaborating with the sales team to close deals.

  • Training: Educating customers on the proper use and maintenance of products.

  • Maintaining Customer Relationships: Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers through excellent service and support.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Keeping accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and sales activities.

Minimum Knowledge, Experience and Skills required for the position:

  • Education: Diploma in health, medical sciences or related

  • Previous work experience in medical devices business is valued (in the same clinical area and same commercial area would be a plus).

  • Demonstrated experience and a track record of successful product adoption.

  • Effective communication with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.

  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
