A global provider in oil and gas solutions is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 2 years of experience in sales support or customer service within the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities include resolving customer inquiries, generating quotations, and maintaining accurate records in SAP. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
What Will You Do?
Prompt resolution of customers concerns and inquiries.
Prompt attention to sales calls / emails.
100% Advice to customer of late deliveries.
Understanding customers businesses and processes.
Proactive identification of product and service solutions for allocated customers.
Tailored customer service and quotation needs.
Key NCR entries as required to capture customer feedback and product quality issues.
Participate in profitability reviews of each customer to enable maximum return on quotations.
Complete Tender Contract Approval Form (TCAF) and Supplier Risk Assessment (SRA) where applicable.
Participate in implementing strategies for margin enhancement for non-profitable customers.
Take ownership of allocated inquiry base.
Record all quotes in SAP / MRC Global Tender Management System.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of Sales Support / Customer Service experience in Oil & Gas industry.
Experience in generating quotation and building customer rapport.
Experience in order processing and SAP preferred.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, faster learner and able to multi-task
