Sales Support Engineer (Account Management, Fastener/ Engineering Industry)

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and provide timely updates
• Maintain good communication and coordination between customers and internal teams
• Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction through prompt support
• Conduct technical sales presentations and negotiate service packages with customers
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up with customers on status and feedback
• Forecast customer demand and relay insights to sales and planning teams
• Process sales orders, plan and schedule shipments, and manage shipping documentation
• Prepare purchase requisitions for procurement of fasteners and related components
• Seek for management approval for any high-risk or special purchases
• Work with procurement to expedite supplier deliveries to meet customers' demand
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 - 3 years of sales support/ account management experience, preferably from fastener/ any engineering-related industry
• Candidate who is able to start within short notice will be an added advantage
