Sales Strategic Planning & Operations Lead, APAC

Meta is seeking a highly strategic, quantitative, process and detail-oriented business leader to join the APAC Sales Strategy Planning & Operations team. This is a key opportunity to be part of an APAC team that plays an integral role in executing Global Business Group business processes and sales plans, driving operational rigour and efficiency, and producing insights to inform decisions.The mission of the Sales Strategy Planning & Operations group is to maximize business performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the sales business through insights, operational rigour and cross-functional collaboration. We identify and drive critical projects and initiatives to support revenue growth, while supporting operational cadences to surface business insights. In your role as Sales Strategy Planning & Operations lead, you will be a key partner to the business, supporting sales operations activities across: 1) Sales Performance reporting, driving rhythm of business (target-setting and tracking) across sales teams 2) Business and Process Optimization by taking a data-driven approach to support business growth and efficiencies across processes, organization and systems; identify market and product opportunities for global teams 3) Support revenue, product and sales rigour and issues escalation. The candidate is expected to work well independently and in collaboration and have experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Sales Strategic Planning & Operations Lead, APAC Responsibilities:

  • Provide key insights for business leadership to identify opportunities and risk toward actionable outcomes across Sales and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support strategic decision-making. Own regular communications with leadership to highlight progress toward goals, risks and dependencies.
  • Manage rhythm of business with rigour. Lead business reviews, track performance against goals and priorities across a breadth of business, operational rigor, and organizational metrics. Enhance insight value and depth, know the "why" behind performance movers.
  • Improve dashboards, automated reports, and processes in a look-forward manner for relevance and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities and key roadblocks to progress, and work efficiently across teams and time-zones to remove them.
  • Influence and execute regional initiatives, driving alignment with cross-regional / functional teams. Translate and execute global initiatives to regional / local level

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of work experience in a strategy/planning & operations teams at start-ups/MNCs/Management Consulting at a top-tier consulting firm
  • Proficient in SQL, fluency in Python. Demonstrated experience with managing large data sets, with superior modeling skills
  • Execution-oriented and resourceful. Demonstrated project management and stakeholder influencing experience, with commercial / business acumen
  • Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, demonstrated experience in solving complex and wide-ranging business problems (commercial, operational, organizational). Experience in effectively communicating, influencing and presenting key concepts to leadership audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively influencing and presenting key concepts to leadership audiences
  • Enjoys the challenge to thrive in a complex, ambiguous and fast-changing environment with agility to drive results through effective problem-solving, collaboration and communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or a degree in an analytical field, i.e., Finance, Business Management, Statistics
  • Experience working across varied markets and time-zones
  • Knowledge of Meta and products and AI tools
