We are looking for a driven and resilient salesperson with expertise in/or working with clients within the Funds Management & Asset Management space. This is an exciting new role, where you will be responsible for driving new sales across Japan by selling our Funds Data & Multi-Asset Analytics solutions, to both existing and new clients.

Based in Singapore, as part of the APAC Analytics Sales team, you will be responsible for pro-actively prospecting, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities.

Our analytics solutions are underpinned by accurate data, comprehensive asset class coverage, sophisticated market-leading models, and world-class global expertise. Spanning various datasets, asset coverage, and services, we provide a one-stop solution for all our clients' analytics needs.

Market-leading models, granular cashflows, real-time user-specified curves, robust analytics, and integrated workflows enable our buy-side and sell-side customers globally to access analytical solutions across their business requirements.

This is a sales role which drives Funds Data Solutions & Multi-asset Analytics Solutions' gross sales by proactively developing and closing solutions sales opportunities across a dedicated client portfolio, including Fund Managers, Asset Managers, Asset Owners, and Banks' Risk Managers.

Sales Specialists are responsible for executing LSEG's strategy for growth and market differentiation. They collaborate with Product Management and Account Management teams to support this strategy.

Responsibilities you will perform:
  1. Generate new business by identifying new logos and up-selling / cross-selling into existing clients.
  2. Develop and execute strategies for targeting prioritized opportunities.
  3. Structure, negotiate, and close deals, owning the Refinitiv Investment & Advisory solutions offering in the region.
  4. Grow LSEG's market share by developing and deploying domain-based strategies in collaboration with market development and account management teams.
  5. Act as a subject matter expert to support Account Managers, focusing on sales for the Analytics proposition within the territory.
  6. Lead on deals aligned with specific propositions and serve accounts within the territory.
  7. Proactively identify pipeline opportunities, governed by the Account Managers.
  8. Develop sales strategies for the propositions within the territory.
  9. Deliver customer demonstrations on specific propositions.
  10. Promote insights relevant to customers' workflows and act as a voice of the customer internally.
  11. Identify opportunities to raise to Account Managers and share insights to aid the sales process.
  12. Maintain accurate customer contact, engagement, and opportunity data in CRM systems.
What you need to bring:
  • Sales background with domain expertise in financial markets, preferably within Funds Management or financial analytics.
  • Experience working with collective investments and knowledge of the industry.
  • Expertise in AI-powered solutions.
  • Knowledge of market data is advantageous.
  • Proven sales experience within financial services.
  • Track record in a quota-bearing sales environment.
  • World-class selling skills (identify, develop, articulate propositions, consultative selling).
  • Strong sales closers.
  • Product and workflow expertise (financial modelling, Excel, MS Office); knowledge of trading floor tech/data apps.
  • Ability to organize and execute a sales plan.
  • Strong communication skills; business-level English.
