Marketing & Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for sales of products, systems, and services within the Electrification Distribution Solutions market/division, aligning with the division strategy. Your daily tasks will include achieving qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also identify and develop new sales opportunities.

The work model for this role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid. This position contributes to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business Division in Singapore. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Developing market intelligence and understanding of market trends in Singapore.
  • Creating strategic plans for your assigned market, defining growth areas, and setting action plans to meet sales objectives.
  • Focusing on front-end sales execution from end-to-end project pursuits.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships by understanding needs and promoting positive experiences.
  • Preparing sales reports and forecasts using Salesforce and other tools.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and project pipelines.
  • Developing demand creation strategies and proposing new product offerings to meet market demands, working closely with consultants and EPCs.
  • Preparing technical and commercial offers based on customer specifications and coordinating with sales teams.
  • Ensuring offers are technically and financially appropriate.
  • Managing resolution of customer problems and developing new sales opportunities.
  • Participating in risk review processes as per ABB policy.
Qualifications for the role
  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong background in the electrical industry, with experience in project sales (medium voltage switchgears).
  • Previous experience in engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Team player capable of coordinating with various sales teams.
