Responsible for sales of pharmaceutical products and other company products to prescribing healthcare professionals, mainly general practitioner. Deliver therapeutic information in compliance with ethical rules and according to the marketing and sales strategies defined for the product line.
Work closely with Medical Affairs Manager, Marketing Manager and Product Manager, Digital Executive and other internal stakeholders to develop prescribers – however, the product portfolio and customer coverage may change depending on company’s sales strategy.
In compliant to Compliance SOPs,
Promotion and sale of prescription drugs and other company products to assigned clinics / general practitioners. This includes opening of new accounts
Establish and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders in clinics to understand customer's needs to provide solutions from the company to capitalise on business opportunities
Work closely with Medical Affairs Manager, Marketing Manager, Digital Executive to develop prescribers for focus products
Achieve Sales Target set and execute sales plan & activities in line with business strategy
Keep updated records of customer profiles and information. Utilise VeeVa CRM to capture all customers calls and achieve KPIs set for call coverage and F2F call visits
Participate & execute marketing & sales promotional activities to drive awareness and prescription of products & provide timely feedback
Communicate marketplace information and competitor activities promptly to manager and marketing department
Organize and participate in product demonstration, contract and customer engagement activities
Provide timely monthly forecasts to line manager
Undertake projects assigned by line manager and work cross-functionally with the cross-functional stakeholders
Any other tasks and responsibilities as directed by line manager
Minimum 1-3 year sales experience in a pharmaceutical industry is preferred. However, fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
Diploma or Degree graduate in pharmaceutical, nursing, bioscience, nutrition or other health sciences
Diploma or Degree in marketing, nursing, bioscience, business administration may also be considered
Proven sales records in private channel
Proven record of organizing and participation in marketing activities & product demonstration, customer engagement activities
Demonstrate strong ability to keep proper documentation and records
Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact and work well with both internal and external cross-functional stakeholders
Exhibit solution mindedness and resourcefulness in resolving issues resulting business growth
Exhibit good business acumen and negotiation and communication skills
Exhibit teamwork and positive mindset
