Job summary

CLEANTECH SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an Engineer (Projects/Business development) to drive marketing, sales and project execution for gas and chemical systems used in semiconductor projects across Singapore and Asia.

The role requires deep product knowledge, strong communication, and ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles, including demos, networking, and trade-show participation. Travel readiness is essential as sales targets span the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in engineering or business.
• 5+ years of experience in design, engineering, and installation of gas and chemical system projects for the semiconductor industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Willingness to travel and support field activities.

Responsibilities

• Analyse market opportunities and develop new customers for the company's products and services in Singapore and Asia.
• Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities.
• Assist in managing the company's overall documentation, including procurement, vendor payments, cash flow, and project progress tracking.
• Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and without safety or quality issues.
• Prepare professional reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation for executive-level presentations.
• Coordinate with vendors, employees and partners to develop new products and services to offer turnkey solutions to customers.
• Possess in-depth product knowledge and conduct demos and objection handling.
• Degree/Diploma with min 5 years experience in design, engineering, and installation of gas and chemical system projects for semiconductor industry.
• Prepare project design reports like pressure drop calculations, 3D drawings and deep knowledge of semiconductor grade material selection for gases and chemicals.
• Managed projects in major semiconductor projects.
