A leading interior design firm is seeking an experienced project manager to lead and oversee project execution from inception through completion. The role includes managing coordination with clients and stakeholders, monitoring site progress, and optimizing project budgets. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in project management with the ability to provide leadership and maintain quality assurance throughout various project phases.
1) Lead and oversee the operation and execution of projects from inception through development, manufacturing start-up, site installation, and project completion.
2) Manage project coordination with clients, architects, consultants, and NSC.
3) Monitor site progress in collaboration with site managers, coordinators, and supervisors.
4) Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
5) Attend site and progress meetings with clients, architects, designers, and the project team.
6) Handle all correspondence and documentation, including preparing reports such as emails, weekly site progress reports, and project schedules.
7) Monitor and control the project budget, providing value engineering to optimize scope and materials.
8) Manage and resolve design and technical issues with relevant site and factory managers.
9) Plan and schedule project timelines effectively.
10) Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project objectives are met.
11) Provide leadership and support to the project team.
12) Ensure quality assurance throughout the project.
13) Continuously monitor and report project progress to management.
14) Prepare and submit weekly progress reports highlighting issues and solutions.
15) Oversee and manage rectification works as needed.
16) Establish and finalize claims to clients for each completed project.
17) Participate in ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as required.
18) Evaluate and approve claims from subcontractors and suppliers, recommending payments.
19) Attend weekly and bi-weekly company meetings.
20) Willing to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays.
