Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales and Project Coordinator-Engineer to join our growing team specialising in custom, non-standard, and bespoke elevator systems. This role combines client-facing sales responsibilities with hands-on project management, working closely with architects, contractors, and engineers to deliver tailored vertical transportation solutions.
As part of a small, agile team, you will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle—from client inquiry to system handover—playing a pivotal role in both business development and technical execution. There is a great opportunity for you to learn and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Engage directly with architects, consultants, builders, and private clients to understand unique elevator requirements.
- Develop customised proposals, including layout drawings and technical documentation.
- Present technical concepts clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prepare detailed quotations and support contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, particularly in high-end residential and niche commercial markets.
Project Management & Engineering:
- Manage projects end-to-end: site assessment, specification development, installation coordination, and final commissioning.
- Collaborate with internal design teams and external fabricators/suppliers to ensure custom components meet project specifications.
- Ensure that all systems comply with relevant safety codes, accessibility regulations, and client design intents.
- Monitor project costs, timelines, and subcontractor performance.
- Attend site meetings, conduct inspections, and resolve technical issues promptly.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- No experience is required in the industry, you will be given training.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and client-interfacing skills.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and produce lift layout proposals using AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Strong project coordination and multitasking ability, especially in fast-paced environments.
