Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to support business goals, drive expansion, and strengthen market position.
• Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring a streamlined approach
• Handling international shipping procedures, customs requirements
• Maintain proper documentation for freight and shipping, ensuring everything is filed and tracked appropriately
• Responsible for tracking goods and troubleshooting any issues to prevent delays, requiring quick problem-solving skills
• Effectively communicate with customers, airlines, and agents, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods across various transport modes (air, sea, land)
• Expanding and maintaining relationships with key accounts in the Asian market, ensuring their needs are met and satisfied
• Flexibility to take on additional tasks assigned by management as needed

Requirement

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Import/Export/Transshipment operations
• GCE 'N' / 'O' Level, NITEC, Diploma or Degree in any discipline
• IT-savvy with proficiency in relevant software/systems
• Strong communication skills and relation building abilities
• Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin to be able to communicate with Mandarin speaking counterparts
• May require to work on weekends and public holidays due to operational needs
