Job description

Key responsibilities:

• To support sales team in documentation for local and export sales
• Oversee the complete sales process, from initiation to completion ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate shipment activities and customer requirements
• Manage relationship with new and existing customers
• Maintenance of Freight tariff system
• Regularly update and maintain the freight tariff system to reflect current rates and conditions
• Investigate and trouble shoot disputes relating to frieght filling
• Keep purchase quotes updated to reflect current market conditions and company policies
• Update and maintain customers' billing database
• Invoice issuance and handling of billing inquiries from customers
• Report preparation
• Prepare and manage sales and purchase contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clear and agreed upon
• Generate and respond to customer quotations quickly and respond to inquiries in a timely manner

Key skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Shipping, Transportation or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in container shipping
• Strong analytical, systematic and efficient approach to tasks
• Self-motivated, proactive and reliable
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Proficient in MS office, particularly Excel (such as Pivot Table and basic formulas)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred to liaise with chinese-speaking partners
