Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a candidate to lead and manage reseller relationships, achieve sales targets, and support marketing initiatives. The ideal applicant has a diploma or degree in Business and at least 2 years of B2B sales experience, with strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset. Knowledge in the gemmological industry is an advantage. This role will require travel and collaboration with various departments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years regional sales experience in a B2B industry.
  • Self-driven and independent with good time management.
  • Experience in diamond/gemstones/gemmological industry is a plus.

Job description

  • Lead and manage existing resellers relationships to effectively achieve predefined business targets, strengthening sales growth and market share
  • Identify, initiate and collaborate with resellers on trade marketing programs which add brand value, drive volume sales and increase resellers and customers satisfaction
  • Seek out business opportunities by identifying new prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options, for new resellers
  • Source for direct business relationship with jewellery manufacturers/pawnbrokers in selected SEA countries
  • Partake in regional sales support for resellers such as regional meetings and trade shows. Deliver training including trade knowledge, and launching of new products to resellers
  • Monitor competitors activities and conduct analysis on channels, categories and sales performance to identify business opportunities
  • Attend customers inquiries via phone or email, complaints and coordinate with engineer and customer service to resolve application and technical problems
  • Participate to support marketing to generate creative marketing contents to increase brand and product awareness
  • Support and work closely with other departments to achieve common company objectives
  • Any other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:

  • A diploma/degree in Business or any related field
  • Minimum 2 years regional sales experience in a B2B industry, and willing to travel
  • Self-driven, hands-on, street smart and independent with good time management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer centric mind-set.
  • Experience/knowledge in diamond/gemstones/gemmological industry will be an advantage
