The Gentlemen's Atelier, established since 2016, is in the business of providing premium yet affordable made-to-measure formal apparel for gentlemen. Apparel ranges from shirts and pants to suits, and we also offer a one-stop service by having our own in-house accessories and collaborations with other brands that offer merchandise like shoes, bags, and more.

Job Description

The Gentlemen's Atelier is seeking an energetic and creative individual with pleasant mannerism to manage our boutique showroom and handle the day-to-day affairs of the shop. Responsibilities include consulting with customers, taking measurements, and assisting with fittings to ensure that customers walk away with well-fitted apparel. Experience is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential. Below is the list of job responsibilities:

  1. Manage the retail space and handle customers’ appointments on a daily basis.
  2. Perform consultations with customers, including selecting fabrics, designing apparel, taking measurements, and fitting customers.
  3. Assist the team with social media postings and manage all social media channels.
  4. Handle administrative matters to ensure that customers’ orders are processed in a timely manner.
  5. Manage ad-hoc projects initiated by Management.
  6. This position requires commitment to at least one weekend on a rotating basis.

Job Requirements

  1. Able to work on weekdays and one weekend day.
  2. Minimum Diploma in Apparel Design & Merchandising or a related discipline; entry-level candidates with no experience are welcome.
  3. Prior retail and marketing experience and exposure to a retail environment is a plus.
  4. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  5. Friendly personality and positive working attitude - willing to learn.
  6. Service-oriented and able to work well in a team.
  7. Meticulous and organized, able to prioritize and act accordingly.
  8. Good work ethic and adherence to policies.
  9. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  10. Able to work independently.
