Role: Sales Executive (B2B Business Development Focus)

We’re on the lookout for a motivated, results-driven Sales Executive with a strong instinct for business development and client engagement. This is not just a sales role—it’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping meaningful corporate events across Singapore. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities via networking, cold outreach, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), and other channels.
  • Connect with decision-makers across HR, Admin, Marketing, and C-suite to understand business needs and position TheMeetUpSG’s offerings effectively.
  • Conduct consultative discovery meetings and tailor proposals that align with clients’ objectives and brand values.
  • Develop persuasive sales presentations, decks, proposals, and quotations that win business.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent follow-ups and long-term account nurturing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless project handovers and successful event execution.
  • Manage and track leads, pipelines, and forecasts through CRM tools.
  • Explore opportunities for strategic partnerships and sponsorships to elevate event offerings.
  • Represent TheMeetUpSG at industry events, networking sessions, and client engagements.
  • Assist the Event Specialist during key on-site activations and client-facing moments.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, event sales, or business development—especially within events, hospitality, or marketing sectors.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and a hunger to meet (and exceed) sales goals.
  • Strategic thinker who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Comfortable with hybrid work, including in-person meetings and attending client events when required.
  • Existing corporate contacts and networks will be a significant advantage.
