Commercial Assistant Manager / Manager – Aircraft Cabin Modifications & Interiors

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Commercial Manager to lead our sales and business development initiatives for aircraft cabin modification services and cabin interior products. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding existing partnerships and unlocking new opportunities across international markets, particularly with airlines and OEMs. If you have a deep understanding of aircraft interiors, CAAS / EASA / FAA STC processes, and the global airline ecosystem — and a passion for winning — we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand sales of aircraft cabin modifications (CAAS / EASA / FAA STC retrofits) and interior products, including seats, monuments, galleys and lavatories

  • Build, manage, and grow strong relationships with airline customers and partners across global markets.

  • Identify emerging trends and customer needs to position the company as a trusted solutions provider.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead a team to deliver compelling commercial proposals that reflect both technical and business excellence.

  • Provide strategic direction to internal teams to ensure alignment between customer needs, engineering capabilities, and execution.

  • Guide contract negotiations, ensuring win-win outcomes that strengthen long-term client relationships.

Marketing & Brand Presence

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer presentations to enhance visibility and credibility.

  • Collaborate with marketing on the creation of sales collateral, product brochures, digital content, and other brand materials.

  • Contribute to new product development initiatives by bringing market insights and customer feedback into the process.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Aerospace, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aerospace, with at least 5 years in a customer-facing commercial role focused on aircraft cabin modifications or interiors.

  • Proven track record of growing revenue and winning complex, technical sales in global markets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of commercial aircraft platforms (Boeing, Airbus), FAA regulations (especially STC processes), and interior systems such as IFE, seating, monuments, lavatories and galleys.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to present, persuade, and build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high self-motivation, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to solving problems and leading teams.

  • Ability to influence across functions and drive collaborative decision-making.

Other Requirements

  • Able to travel internationally and domestically on short notice as needed.

  • Candidates must have existing work rights in Singapore.
