Sales Manager, STR - Singapore

Job Description

Role Overview

You will ensure STR maintains its market leadership by driving growth among hotel participants and industry clients in the region. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying leads, nurturing, closing, onboarding, training, and renewal. You will support and build client relationships, requiring excellent communication skills and regional expertise, especially in hotel performance statistics.

Prior experience in account management, sales lead generation, or the hospitality industry is advantageous. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidence in handling numbers.

Responsibilities
  1. Generate new business subscriptions with hotels and industry partners.
  2. Manage, retain, and develop client relationships to grow data usage and subscription value.
  3. Develop and implement strategic account management plans.
  4. Negotiate and renew client contracts.
  5. Present and educate clients on STR’s products.
  6. Represent STR at client meetings, industry conferences, and events, delivering data insights.

This position is based in Singapore with regular travel to South and South-East Asia.

Qualifications
  • Strong industry knowledge in Accommodation Revenue Management and Investment Sector.
  • Extensive local market knowledge and network across South and South-East Asia.
  • Proficiency in regional languages.
