Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of sales quotas for assigned region(s) and work closely with the sales team to meet or exceed targets.

  • Manage existing customers, ensuring prompt responses to pricing or product inquiries and driving orders to closure.

  • Build strong relationships with key accounts to gain deep insights into their markets and purchasing cycles, enabling accurate sales forecasting.

  • Support the Sales VP and team in preparing monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.

  • Collect and share market, competitor, and pricing intelligence with the sales team.

  • Assist the Senior VP of Sales in preparing for weekly revenue meetings and actively participate in these sessions.

  • Serve as the primary contact for new customers, ensuring all necessary checks and company requirements are met before engagement, and keep the CRM system updated regularly.

  • Collaborate with the finance team on accounts receivable escalation matters.

  • Partner with distributors and customers to clear excess inventory, helping to reduce stock levels and boost revenue.

  • Communicate with customers regarding quality concerns and coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Work with Product Marketing and engineering teams to explore new markets and support design wins for new products.

  • Uphold the company’s business conduct standards in line with Singapore regulations.

Qualification Guidelines:

  • Sales experience, background in photonics or optoelectronics is an advantage.

  • Candidates from application or R&D roles seeking a transition into sales will be given strong consideration.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a track record of supporting sales growth.

  • Knowledge of channel partner management.

  • Willingness to travel across the US, Asia-Pacific, and Europe for customer meetings.
