Job Summary

Manage and monitor sales teams to achieve technical sales targets for assigned businesses and overall business objectives for Singapore

General Responsibilities

  • Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term technical sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses in Singapore
  • Provide monthly updates on budget status and pipelines.
  • Manage and monitor progress of sales activities for assigned businesses/territories. Identify and implement customized solutions based on changing markets and trends
  • Manage continuous improvement on sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc., to improve sales targets
  • Proactively research and meet potential clients to close sales.
  • Develop and build relationships with customers to achieve business objectives
  • Partner Marketing to design and execute outreach and roadshows to generate leads.
  • Manage 1-2 Sales Executive(s)
  • Monitor the team's key performance indicator achievements. Conduct regular reviews to provide feedback on achievements, performance gaps and requirements for improvement

Experience and Education

  • A track record of delivering sales budgets for at least 3 years.
  • Preferably managed a team of 1-2 for at least 1 year.
  • Familiar with sales of laboratory equipment.
  • At least a Diploma, or Degree from a reputable institution preferably specializing in Science or Engineering
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in a similar role
  • Minimum two to three years’ experience in a managerial capacity
