Reporting to the Director (Maritime Connectivity Solution), the primary job responsibilities:
Recommend, identify and devise Business Development Plans and Sales Strategies for the Satellite Subscriptions (Airtime) Team, in alignment with Business Unit’s Objectives, to ensure profitability and growth in sales revenue.
Connect and discuss with identified customers to understand their needs.
Prepare and present quotations / commercial proposals in order to follow up on sales matters.
Work with the Product Manager to create high quality proposals for the customers, while aligning to customers’ needs.
Provide pre-sales assistance and after-sales support to customers.
Implement and execute all business plans, while aligning to our corporate goals, to achieve sales performance target.
Liaise closely with the Technical Manager to ensure efficiency in the sales and delivery of systems and services to the customers.
Work with Network Support team on customers’ enquiries and maintain the relationship with existing customers.
Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Director (Maritime Connectivity Solutions)
Other Requirements:
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in telecommunication, electrical engineering.
4 - 8 years relevant working experience with good sales track record.
Good Sales network in the marine industry and knowledge in Maritime Satellite services will be an advantage.Experience as Ex-Radio Officers, are added advantages.Good customer contacts withship managers/owners will be an advantage
Possess excellent business acumen, communication & presentation skills.
