Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Singapore sales team to achieve corporate sales and profitability goals by developing strategic growth plans and shifting focus from product to solution-based selling.

• Track sales performance using KPIs, prepare regular reports, and present actionable insights to senior management for continuous improvement.

• Drive key account and project development by identifying new applications, expanding customer base, and securing competitive wins in targeted segments.

• Coach and mentor internal and external sales teams, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture through structured development and training plans.

• Collaborate closely with sales development teams to enhance pre-sales processes and ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Work with marketing to design and implement campaigns that position the client as a trusted solutions partner and generate qualified sales leads in priority markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 8+ years of sales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

• Minimum 3 years in a sales management role, leading and developing a high-performing team.

• Solid grasp of sales methodologies such as value-selling or strategic selling, with ability to coach teams on effective deployment.

• Strategic mindset with strong knowledge of local market dynamics and proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.

• Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) and MS Office tools.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural or MNC environment.
