Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Create a sales strategy that aligns with both the overall sales strategy and the organisational strategy.
  2. Create, track, and update the business's budget to ensure all initiatives are executed.
  3. Verify that the prices of goods and services adhere to the applicable Principal Brand pricing specifications.
  4. Perform performance analytics and track the effectiveness of the company's services and products.
  5. Provide necessary corporate inputs to the Marketing and Communications department to support their marketing research endeavors.
  6. Promote and track sales performance (volume, classification, etc.).
  7. Ascertain inventory and procurement requirements based on insights and data analytics conducted by the Marketing and Communications Department.
  8. Project demand for the company's service and product categories.
  9. Compile reports on the performance and positioning of goods and services for the leisure and business sectors.
  10. Track and promote the growth in sales of goods and services through cross-selling and upselling.
  11. Periodically check the inventory count to ensure availability meets client demand.
  12. Maintain solid commercial ties with key customer accounts.
  13. Analyze rival activity and current market trends while monitoring the execution and performance of the company's sales activities.
  14. Ensure the sales staff is knowledgeable about the company's goods and services.
  15. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications department to identify growth opportunities and guarantee higher sales through consumer and market research.
  16. Work with the Customer Service and Training departments to determine necessary competencies and skills for the team.
  17. Communicate with the purchasing division to restock items based on consumer requests.
  18. Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics departments to ensure timely and efficient item delivery and dispatch.
  19. Create reports pertaining to sales, such as sales performance, sales projections, and sales risk.
  20. Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  21. Perform additional tasks and obligations as delegated by the department.

Qualifications:

  1. Any bachelor's degree; a master's in business administration is preferred.
  2. A diploma or engineering degree in electrical, electronics, automation, or instrumentation is a plus.
  3. Eight to ten years of relevant experience in a comparable position.
  4. Experience with both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) interactions is advantageous.
  5. Excellent business communication skills are necessary.
  6. Prior experience managing a sales force is required.
