Job summary

A leading company in the marine sector is seeking a dedicated B2B Sales Representative to focus on the LPG segment across Asia & Pacific. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving direct sales, maintaining key customer relationships, and preparing sales agreements while being proactive in their approach. An excellent command of English and the ability to communicate in Mandarin will be crucial for liaising with Chinese-speaking clients. You will also manage travel to meet clients, fostering strong business relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience from similar positions in the Marine Business is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience for rotation equipment is desirable.
  • Proven track record in maritime aftersales business.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct B2B sales to selected key customers.
  • Focus on LPG segment Asia & Pacific.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, contact new clients by phone, mail etc.
  • Maintain selected key customer business and re-negotiation new frame-agreements.
  • Prepare quotations/cost estimates, technical agreements, and negotiate/sign new sales contracts.
  • Sales Pipeline management, proactive follow-up and conduct customer sales meetings.
  • Follow guiding principles in pro-active sales and execution.
  • Pro-actively travel to meet customers face to face and create strong relationships (overseas 20-40 travel days per year, locally in Singapore on weekly basis).
  • Utilize and maintain CRM database.


Requirements:

  • Technical bachelor's degree/Marine Engineer or experience from similar job position.
  • Experience from similar position, preferable in the Marine Business.
  • Applicant with hands-on experience for rotation equipment preferred.
  • Strong team player who manages to get people working together across functions and locations.
  • Experience from maritime aftersales business, with proven track record.
  • Strong pro-active mindset.
  • Responsible and trustworthy towards customers and colleagues.
  • Responsible individual and ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients.
