Reports to: Director of Sales

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts for IoT solutions in the rotating equipment sector (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines, motors). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in industrial equipment, combined with deep understanding of IoT technologies and digital transformation within industrial environments. This role focuses on driving growth through consultative selling, strategic partnerships, and expanding our footprint in key industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for IoT solutions targeting rotating equipment in industries such as oil & gas, power generation, water & wastewater, and manufacturing.
  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders including plant managers, maintenance engineers, OEMs, and system integrators.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Understand customer pain points and propose tailored IoT solutions (e.g., condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, asset performance management).
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to influence roadmap and ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and ROI analyses.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in industrial or IoT-related fields.
  • Strong understanding of rotating equipment and industrial operations.
  • Proven track record in selling digital solutions, sensors, or industrial automation products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 40–60% (depending on region).
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales analytics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies and IIoT platforms (e.g., Azure IoT, PTC ThingWorx, Siemens MindSphere).
  • Existing network within heavy industries and OEMs.
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand sensor integration, data acquisition, and cloud-based analytics.
