Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is assisting a well-established MNC seeking a Sales Manager (ESS) to drive commercial success in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The role focuses on managing day-to-day sales activities, RFQ evaluation, and delivering technically sound proposals.

Responsibilities include coordinating with regional teams, pricing strategy, and maintaining relationships with EPC contractors and system integrators to meet revenue and margin targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial sales experience.
• Experience in Electrical Heat Tracing (EHT) and hazardous area products is advantageous.
• Familiarity with RFQs, tender submissions, and proposal preparation.
• Knowledge of IECEx/ATEX standards, Microsoft Office, CRM systems; travel readiness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sales activities to ensure smooth project execution, timely deliveries, and compliance with customer specifications.
• Review RFQs, tenders, and project requirements to prepare commercial and technical proposals.
• Conduct technical discussions and clarification meetings with customers regarding project scope and solution requirements.
• Coordinate with regional sales teams, factories, and customers to support project execution and delivery timelines.
• Handle quotation preparation, pricing strategy, order management, and contract follow-up activities.
• Develop and expand business opportunities within industrial sectors including oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, marine, and power industries.
• Maintain and grow relationships with EPC contractors, system integrators, and end users across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
• Monitor project progress, sales pipeline, and accounts receivable to support business objectives.
• Achieve sales revenue and gross margin targets through strategic account management.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and periodic business reports.
