Position Title: Sales Manager Hospital Marketing

Reporting to: CEO

Position Overview

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales and build relationships within the hospital sector. It requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in hospital sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product adoption and revenue in hospitals.
  2. Identify and target key hospital accounts and decision-makers, including procurement, medical staff, and administrators.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with hospital stakeholders and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to promote nutraceutical products.
  4. Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and educational seminars.
  5. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
  6. Provide feedback on product development and market needs to guide company strategy.
  7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
  8. Build sales plans for the segment and lead cross-functional implementation to meet targets.
  9. Collaborate with R&D to develop proof of concept criteria for products.
  10. Meet sales financial objectives through forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  11. Define segment marketing and promotional plans.
  12. Work with the team to develop growth plans for strategic customers.
  13. Identify new product opportunities, packaging, and service improvements.
  14. Handle special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5-8 years of experience in sales or marketing within the hospital or healthcare industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies in the hospital market.
  • Understanding of hospital purchasing processes and stakeholder structures.
  • Effective presentation and engagement skills.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong influence, motivation, and team engagement skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Analytical skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and business writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to learn product details to effectively position features and benefits.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, or related field; MBA is a plus. 5-8 years of relevant experience in hospital sector sales or marketing.
