Job Overview

We seek an experienced Cybersecurity Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, with strategic expansion into APAC markets.

You will leverage deep industry connections and domain expertise to sell complex security solutions (XDR, Zero Trust, Cloud Security, GRC) to enterprises and governments.

This role demands a hunter profile with proven ability to close six/seven-figure deals, navigate compliance landscapes, and build channel partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Leadership:

  1. Achieve quarterly sales targets (min. SGD 2M+ annual quota) for cybersecurity solutions.
  2. Own full sales cycle: prospecting CISOs/IT directors, solution pitching, POCs, contract negotiation.
  3. Target verticals: Finance, Government, Healthcare, Critical Infrastructure.

Market Expansion:

  1. Develop GTM strategies for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand (immediate focus) and Japan/ANZ (future).
  2. Establish channel partnerships (MSSPs, VARs) and co-sell with vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, CrowdStrike).

Industry Authority:

  1. Represent the company at cybersecurity events (e.g., Black Hat, RSA APAC, GovWare).
  2. Leverage threat intelligence (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) to align solutions with customer pain points.

Sales Operations:

  1. Forecast accurately in CRM (Salesforce/Clari), manage pipeline hygiene.
  2. Collaborate with pre-sales engineers to architect custom solutions.

Requirements

Experience:

  1. 7+ years in B2B cybersecurity sales with consistent over-quota achievement (provide 2-year performance records).
  2. Proven track record selling 2+ of:

a. Cloud Security (AWS/Azure/GCP)

b. Managed Detection & Response (MDR/XDR)

c. GRC/Identity Access Management

d. OT/IoT Security

e. Existing relationships with APAC enterprises

Industry Credentials:

  1. Active participation in cyber circles (e.g., ISC2 chapters, ASEAN CERT networks, OWASP).
  2. Understanding of regional regulations: PDPA (SG), PDP (MY), GDPR (Thai enterprises), NIST CSF.

Skills:

  1. Fluent in consultative selling (MEDDIC/SPIN).
  2. Ability to position against competitors (e.g., Palo Alto vs. Fortinet).
  3. Expertise in structuring multi-year licensing/OPEX deals.

Regional Mobility:

  1. Willingness to travel (within APAC).
  2. Cultural fluency in SG/MY/TH business practices.

Education & Certifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree (Business/IT preferred).
  2. Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific (e.g., AWS Security, Microsoft SC-100).
