A leading hospitality company seeks a Sales Manager to drive room sales revenue and manage customer relationships effectively. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hotel sales experience and a relevant diploma, demonstrating strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets for room sales revenue.
Develop new business and manage existing accounts with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships.
Engage customers by attending to sales inquiries and conducting site visits.
Prepare sales contracts and follow up with clients on event details.
Maintain good service standards by checking feedback from guests and making necessary improvements.
Generate, review, and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for the Director of Sales.
Participate in ongoing research of the travel industry to detect market trends and related information for the development of new marketing strategies.
Make reasonable recommendations to improve potential from various markets.
Mentor to guide the team as and when required.
Ad-hoc projects or other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of hotel sales and managerial experience
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving and solutions provider.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
