Job Description
- Create and identify automation solutions opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to promoting sales volume.
- Create and execute sales strategy to achieve sales target.
- Present value messaging effectively to customers with a solutions selling mindset.
- Develop, qualify, and drive automation business-oriented opportunities from concept to closure.
- Evaluate and prepare technical and commercial proposals by collaborating with internal teams.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industrial automation solutions market, key trends, the competitive landscape, and enterprise use cases.
- Work closely with the team to develop solution proposals.
- Keep track of industrial, statutory, and regulatory bodies' requirements and updates to determine the impact on the business and assess potential opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Control, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics.
- At least 5 years of sales experience with industrial automation projects.
- Self-driven, possess a hunter mindset with proven track records in developing and maintaining key customer relationships.
- Outstanding presentation and interpersonal communication skills with initiative and drive.
- Goal-oriented, competitive, persuasive, and can work individually and in a team environment.
- Good understanding of systems integration, industrial automation, IIoT, and manufacturing operation management systems.
- Those familiar with sales and proposal of various control systems such as PLC, SCADA, and DCS will have an added advantage.
- Strong industry knowledge and customer base in any of the industries: Manufacturing, Commercial and Industrial Building, Healthcare, Utilities, Petrochemical, Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas.
