Lead sales and business development efforts in the Freight Forwarding sector across Southeast Asia and Australia, securing new business and retaining existing clients.
Drive cross-selling and upselling to maximize revenue.
Develop sales strategies and collaborate with the procurement team to secure competitive pricing and space, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met.
Stay informed on market trends and freight rates to adjust strategies accordingly.
Report on sales team performance and progress to management on a regular basis.
Requirements:
Education/Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Experience: 15+ years in freight forwarding, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on business development.
Skills: Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and local transportation logistics. Proven track record of driving sales growth and maintaining long-term client relationships. Strong network within Southeast Asia and Australia freight services. Proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and fluency in English. Looking for long-term growth and stability within a company.
