Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales and business development efforts in the Freight Forwarding sector across Southeast Asia and Australia, securing new business and retaining existing clients.
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling to maximize revenue.
  • Develop sales strategies and collaborate with the procurement team to secure competitive pricing and space, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met.
  • Stay informed on market trends and freight rates to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Report on sales team performance and progress to management on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Education/Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years in freight forwarding, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on business development.
  • Skills:
    Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and local transportation logistics.
    Proven track record of driving sales growth and maintaining long-term client relationships.
    Strong network within Southeast Asia and Australia freight services.
    Proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and fluency in English.
    Looking for long-term growth and stability within a company.
