Sales Manager, APAC

This is a great job for someone who has an understanding of the APAC Distribution landscape, including institutional investors in the pension and insurance channel, discretionary fund management, and private banking.

About the job:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Manager to join our APAC Distribution team, based in Singapore. In this role, you will support our Sales Directors in developing new business and engaging directly with clients in line with the APAC strategy. You will play a key role in generating leads and building a strong pipeline of opportunities through client research and fact-finding.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with client follow-ups
  • Driving opportunities through the sales pipeline
  • Tracking prospective client activities to provide regular updates to the team
  • Contributing to marketing efforts by coordinating campaigns with Investment Directors, Sales Directors, and Marketing colleagues
  • Supporting the preparation of presentation materials and sales collateral
  • Acting as a liaison between sales and other business areas
  • Coordinating responses to client requests
  • Using tools like LinkedIn and Mandate Wire to identify and engage the right contacts
  • Assisting with event planning and post-event follow-up

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience of working in business distribution
  • Solid understanding of public markets and investment products; understanding of private markets is an advantage
  • Knowledge of client, market, and regulatory trends
  • Ability to analyze data proficiently
  • Proficient user of lead generation and sales management tools
  • Currently working towards IMC, CAIA, or CFA, or desire to do so
