Job description

Key Competencies

1. Strong Hospitality Sales Experience -Proven track record in hotel sales, preferably in airport hotels, transit properties, or short-stay business models & Able to handle B2B (corporate, airline, GDS, travel agencies) and B2C (OTA, retail) segments.

2. Account Knowledge - corporate accounts, travel agencies, OTAs, or airline crew/staff travel. Also understands Changi Airport operations, passenger flows, and potential partnerships with airlines or terminals.

3. Revenue-Driven & Commercial Acumen- Familiar with yield management, BAR strategy, and rate parity—especially in a dynamic environment.

4. Digital Channel & OTA Know-how -Comfortable managing OTA extranet, STAAH/Channel Manager systems, and IBE performance & execute rate loading, promotions, and distribution with little onboarding.

Job Responsibilities

  • Consistently exceed annual sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account oversight.

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to grow business across key sectors, including airlines, airports, corporates, and OTAs.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored, value-driven solutions.

  • Develop and manage relationships with OTAs and IBE platforms to maximize visibility and bookings. Optimize content listings (photos, descriptions, promotions) on these channels to ensure accuracy and appeal.

  • Analyze and track partners’ performance, and hunt for new key clients to identify business potentials and opportunities, ensuring regular maintenance of client account information.

  • Work closely with the revenue management team to set competitive pricing strategies and manage inventory across all online and direct booking channels.

  • Continuously analyze performance and ROI, making strategic adjustments to achieve revenue targets while managing the local sales budget effectively.

  • Deliver impactful proposals and presentations that communicate the company’s value proposition, ensuring alignment with client needs through cross-departmental collaboration.

  • Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to proactively refine sales strategies, maintaining a strong market position and driving profitability

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share through digital channels, including OTAs, IBEs, and social media platforms.

  • Collaborate with internal departments—including operations, IT, legal, finance, and marketing—to accurately communicate and fulfill client needs

  • Represent the company at key industry events while ensuring full compliance with established sales procedures and standards.

Other Responsibilities

  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions.

  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
