Job Description
- Drive sales and develop markets within the submarine cable industry, focusing in providing submarine cable installation, repair, and maintenance services to telecoms and power cable owners/operators.
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities with key clients in telecom and power sectors.
Define and implement actionable sales and marketing plans, targeting specific customer segments. - Prepare competitive proposals, including RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and contracts.
Achieve and exceed departmental sales revenue KPIs. - Generate more than five sales leads per quarter and expand our client base.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients and penetrate new markets.
- Collaborate with internal departments (project, bid, contract, and finance teams) for smooth project delivery.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and maintain detailed sales reports.
Job Requirement
- Proven sales experience in the submarine cable industry (power and telecoms).
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the power transmission, subsea cable, or offshore energy sector.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with decision-makers in telecoms, power transmission, and other related industries.
- Prior experience with subsea or submarine cable will be a big plus!
- Client base with companies like Google, Meta, etc.? That’s an added advantage!
- Strong sales track record with the ability to generate leads and close deals effectively.
- Highly motivated, with an excellent ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
