We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee and drive the full spectrum of sales and marketing activities in our Elevator and Escalator division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling sales inquiries, negotiating major project quotations, managing tenders, and leading a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results.

Job Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for the elevator and escalator division.
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
- Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to ensure strategic alignment.
Sales Inquiry Management
- Handle all sales inquiries and requests, providing timely and accurate responses to potential clients.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, offering tailored solutions and guidance on available products and services.
Quotation & Tender Management
- Manage the preparation of all major project quotations and tenders for new elevator and escalator installations.
- Lead the negotiation process to ensure the Company's interests are met while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Work closely with the engineering and technical teams to ensure the feasibility and profitability of proposed solutions.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise the sales team, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Transfer knowledge and share best practices to new team members to ensure consistent performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions to upskill the team on product knowledge, sales techniques and industry trends.
Strategic Direction & Decision Making
- Attend regular sales meetings to provide updates, review team performance, and assess sales pipeline.
- Make critical decisions on sales pricing of elevators, considering market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer expectations.
- Develop long-term strategies to increase market share and drive sustainable growth.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the lift and escalator industry.
- Lead sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the Company's capabilities and solutions.
- Close new sales opportunities, expanding the client base and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or any related field.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in sales or sales management within the elevator, escalator, or related construction / engineering industries.
- Proven track record in handling large-scale project quotations and tenders.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to close high-value deals.
- Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- In-depth understanding of elevator and escalator products and services.
- Ability to analyse market conditions, competitor pricing, and industry trends.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Highly organized, results-driven, and capable of making data-driven decisions.
- Good knowledge in MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience in SAP, CRM software, and sales analytics tools would be an added advantage.
