Job description
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and increase revenue.
- Develop and sustain strategic relationships with customers to boost sales.
- Meet sales goals by leading, managing, mentoring, and providing sustainable feedback to the team.
- Monitor sales representative activities weekly and monthly to ensure effective time management and to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide and enhance sales & product training, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Oversee the submission of RFP documentation, ensuring deadlines are met with the support of the Sales Support team and Project Team.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to higher management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in managing a sales team(s) - both indoor or outdoor sales in any industry.
- Strong sales track record.
- A results-oriented and sales-driven attitude.
- Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and leading the sales team.
- Commitment to quality.
- High professionalism, strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail.
- Proficient with numbers and technology.
- Prior experience in design/ furniture/ home furnishings would be an added advantage.
