Overview
Manage and develop a sales plan to increase Afton Share of Wallet and enhance the profitability of business in specific customers or regions. Typically responsible for $5-$15 MM GP to maintain and grow sales of Afton’s solutions in designated accounts or sales territories/regions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee the implementation and coordination of strategic sales plans to meet regional strategic marketing goals.
- Establish strong relationships with key customer stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities and work with internal teams to develop optimal solutions to grow Afton business.
- Develop and maintain account plans with comprehensive insights, sharing these with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective decision-making and growth strategies.
- Ensure professional communication with global/regional account teams and support staff for strategy alignment and successful account plan execution.
- Utilize internal sales tools and processes, including demand forecasting, opportunity management, and pricing systems, and follow up on customer concerns logged into the ReSolv Process.
- Assist in developing and maintaining senior management contacts at key accounts to ensure Afton meets customer needs with quality solutions.
- Track customer satisfaction regarding Afton services to ensure continuous improvement and business growth.
- Manage a T&E budget aligned with the territory/regional sales plan.
Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience:
- BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a Technical/Science field.
- Proven leadership, business acumen, and industry knowledge, typically acquired through 12 years of progressively responsible sales management roles.
Note: For Afton employees, relevant experience may substitute formal requirements.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA).
- Experience in the petrochemical, additive, or petroleum industry.
- Sales management experience.
