Bring your Sales and Construction industry knowledge and come join our expanding team in Singapore.

As part of Singapore's AEC Direct Field Sales team, you will be responsible for driving new logo sales as well as expanding business with existing customers to achieve sales targets.


Your role will include you using your BIM (building information modelling) and digital construction knowledge to understand our customer’s needs and pitch our products as suitable solutions for their project design, planning, and execution. Specific areas of focus will be maintaining and developing the Steel, Concrete and A&D segment business as well as increasing our footprint in building and Infrastructures projects in Singapore to improve market share and sales revenue. You are also expected to identify and develop relationships with industry influencers to create mindshare and generate demand for Tekla and other AEC Solutions, working closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales Engineering and Sales Development for support.

What You Will Do:

  • Achieve sales quotas and action the strategic initiatives assigned to you

  • Identify and pursue potential new customers (new logos) through various sales channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and marketing leads

  • Upsell, cross-sell, and expand our business with existing clients by providing innovative solutions that meet their needs.

  • Manage and control sales processes to achieve a predictable pipeline from prospecting, qualifying, management, and sales closure

  • Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts of business performance

  • Partner with marketing to design and execute demand and lead-generation initiatives to build a healthy sales funnel

  • Seek opportunities to cross sell products in CES (Construction Engineering Solutions) group as well as collaborate with other business sectors like Field systems through our Connected Construction value proposition.

  • Work with customer support to maintain good customer relationships and service to attain excellent customer satisfaction, driving repeated sales opportunities.

  • Develop and execute the annual Business plan and Strategic initiatives to grow business.

What Skills Qualifications and Experience Should Bring:

  • Along with your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, your self-motivated nature, and your desire to collaborate with other technical professionals local and global, you will also possess the following skills:

  • Demonstrable years of experience in the AEC industry, with strong domain knowledge in building and civil design and/or construction

  • Strong relationships and an extensive network of contacts with key decision-makers and influencers among Owners, Contractors, Consultants, and Fabricators

  • A proven track record of quota-carrying, direct-led sales experience in the construction, software, or related industries, with a focus on new customer acquisition and account management.

  • Result-oriented and goal focused with strong time management skills and ability to deliver results on time

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen to customer issues, understand customer workflows, and identify customer goals

  • Good organizational skills, a flexible mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills in English are required, and proficiency in other commonly spoken languages in Singapore would be an advantage

  • A strong understanding of BIM, digital construction, and other industry trends in Singapore would be advantageous

  • Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude; is results-oriented, collaborative, open-minded, agile, goal-focused, and customer-centric.
