We're seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our supermarket account management team. The ideal candidate will develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand our presence in existing accounts, and establish strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, analyse market trends and implement sales strategies for supermarket / petrol kiosk / convenient store accounts to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at supermarket accounts.
  • Manage and grow existing business, identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, promotions, and joint business plans.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within supermarket accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, category management) to drive sales.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales professionals.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Track sales performance, analysing data to optimize sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of sales management experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in supermarket account management with Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field will be an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of sales growth and account expansion.
  • Strong relationships with supermarket retailers (e.g., category managers, buying managers).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
