Job summary

A leading catering service in Singapore is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager. The role involves managing catering budgets, securing contracts, and developing strategic sales actions. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS software. Attention to detail and a positive sales attitude are essential. Experience with catering e-commerce platforms is advantageous.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Participate and be knowledgeable of catering budget, forecast, catering package and event financials (P&L)
  • Lead generation, proactively following up with Marketing campaign.
  • Secure yearly contracts for catering.
  • Sales driven to develop strategy, action plan, promotion and campaign related to e-commerce catering platform or assigned industry and client accounts
  • Versatile / willing to be involved in Venue
  • Focus on revenue growth with existing and new accounts
  • Exceed in client relationship, engagement and hospitality
  • Possess product knowledge and experience in event and catering
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ needs and to be fully responsible and accountable to ensure smooth delivery of client and operational service / service recovery, respectively
  • Work closely with service operations and culinary team to ensure completeness of all related admin and documentation (Event Orders, PO/DO, SOP, etc.)
  • Oversee daily catering sales administration and associate/s, sales, business and operations meeting
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Candidate should ideally possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food & Beverage Services, Hotel, Tourism, Hospitality and / or Event Management
  • Positive sales attitude, aptitude, strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Excellent organization, administrative skills and with attention to detail
  • Catering e-commerce platform and a flair for social media (IG, FB, TIKTOK) will be an advantage
  • Good and reliable vendor / partner contacts for F&B catering will be a benefit
  • Proficient in MS software (WORD, EXCEL, PPT) and comfortable working with e-commerce and Sales - CRM platforms, where applicable
