Job description

This role reports to the CEO.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Plan and execute market penetration strategies to drive business growth as well as achieve sales targets.
  • Identify, qualify and pursue new business leads to expand distribution channels and networks.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and new business development goals within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor, track and analyse product performance, sales trends and customer behaviours to optimise sales strategies and maximize revenue.
  • Lead the sales team effectively as well as participate in sales and marketing initiatives to improve overall efficiency and performance.
  • Proactively recommend and implement best practices to enhance sales processes and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in food products or food ingredients.
  • Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous, organised and results-driven with a positive working attitude.
  • Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and meet deadlines.
