This role reports to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Plan and execute market penetration strategies to drive business growth as well as achieve sales targets.
- Identify, qualify and pursue new business leads to expand distribution channels and networks.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and new business development goals within the assigned territory.
- Monitor, track and analyse product performance, sales trends and customer behaviours to optimise sales strategies and maximize revenue.
- Lead the sales team effectively as well as participate in sales and marketing initiatives to improve overall efficiency and performance.
- Proactively recommend and implement best practices to enhance sales processes and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in food products or food ingredients.
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Meticulous, organised and results-driven with a positive working attitude.
- Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
