A global telecommunications company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Manager to manage retail direct clients in South-eastern Asia. The ideal candidate will enhance existing accounts, develop strategic partnerships, and have a strong background in maritime ICT. Excellent sales and account management skills are essential, along with a relevant degree. This position requires a self-starter with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing retail direct clients in South-eastern ASIA and maintaining strong working relationships with all accounts. Key objectives for this role will be to retain and enhance existing accounts and grow the defined customer base. The aim is to shift customer relationships from being transactional to a strategic partnership and influence buying decisions.
The Sales Manager will be a valued contributor at management level who will proactively seek opportunities and identify needs that can be fulfilled by the Inmarsat Maritime portfolio. This will be achieved through close co-operation/partnership with customers, and based on an intimate knowledge of their business and operational needs. Account planning and profound knowledge of solution based selling will be key to achieving maximum results.
The Sales Manager will need to identify key customers and quickly establish productive working relationships on multiple levels by promoting the Inmarsat Maritime brand and product/service propositions. Accounts are served direct or through the local retail distribution Channel and while the of the Inmarsat distribution partner will be supported and respected at all times, The Sales Manager will step in where necessary to ensure the Inmarsat Maritime proposition is successfully delivered.
The Sales Manager will also be looking for new growth opportunities beyond the existing maritime merchant client channels, to promoteInmarsat product to the higher value chain such as ship design house, shipyard, value added Manufacture and push Inmarsat Maritime product to meet the industry digitalization trends and integrate Inmarsat Service as critical part of Ship IoT system.
